The municipal election for Vulcan County will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021

 

Election Workers

We are seeking Election Workers!  Vulcan County is recruiting approximately 13 people to work on Election Day (October 18, 2021) and during Advance Vote Days (Oct 9th, 13th and 16th). You must be 18 years of age or older and may be required to work in areas throughout Vulcan County, thus requiring transportation. You also must attend a mandatory training session in late September / early October. Please fill out the application form and submit to Vulcan County by September 21st.

Notice of Nomination Day

Notice is hereby given that Nomination Day is September 20, 2021 and that nominations for the election of candidates for the following offices will be received at the location jurisdiction office set out below with the period beginning on January 1, 2021 and ending at 12:00 noon on Nomination Day.  Location of Local Jurisdiciton: 102 Centre Street, Vulcan, Alberta

Divisions

Vulcan County has seven electoral divisions in which one councillor is elected for each division. Vulcan County’s Reeve and Deputy Reeve are elected amongst council members on an annual basis at Vulcan County’s Organizational Meeting. To view our electoral division maps, please click here

 

Provincial Senate Election and Referendum Vote to be held on October 18th click here

Vulcan County will be conducting the senate election and referendum vote for County residents in conjunction with the local election. Voting stations will be set up throughout the County to accommodate the vote. Please visit our Voter Information page for up-to-date information.
