Twin Valley Regional Water Commission

Vulcan County, along with the Town of Vulcan, the Village of Carmangay, and the Village of Champion, is a member of the Twin Valley Regional Water Commission. This Commission has been working towards regionalizing the provision of piped potable water.

With support from the Province of Alberta’s Water For Life program, a pipeline from the Town of Vulcan to the Village of Champion and south to the Village of Carmangay is complete and providing potable water.

The regional water commission water treatment plant is now operational.
